Marusya is a DMV based artist whose unique genre integrates angelic siren-like song and underworld trap beats. Inspired deeply by her own inner world, Marusya pours a lot of meaning into each lyric and sound that she creates.
Marusya was born in Russia and moved to US in her early teen years. She was raised as a classical pianist spending lots of time immersed in piano practice. As a teenager Marusya distanced herself from classical music and embarked on a journey of self-exploration which led her into the deep dark corners of the underworld. This is where she fell in love with the seductive sounds of trap and rock. Integrating her very contrasting life experiences Marusya began creating sounds that help her express her multidimensional nature.
Now Marusya is confidently and passionately forging her path on embodying her sound. Her upcoming EP will allow the world to experience who Marusya is at a deeper level. For now, enjoy her newest single "Resurrect" on all platforms.
